UPDATE: Showing us that they know a good thing when they see it ... My Child Magazine has picked up our new brand at Nest 'Frankie Loves Jimmy' Crochet stools and will feature them in an upcoming editorial .. Will post images over the next months!

You have have been ever so loyal and are the inspiration behind the rooms creation ...

The women's room launch was well received by all (thanks to you our loyal customer) and is going from strength to strength. While still a work in progress we are thrilled with the starting line up and loving that we can offer you some great names in fashion while still retaining the ease of shopping locally.

Cargo's - we have been wearing cargo's for years but they weren't exactly the kind you would wear on a night out ... but that's now all about to change...The newest and coolest is the Houlihan Skinny Cargo Jean and it is going places the cargo has never been before. After viewing Shrunk by Scotch we didn't think we could get any more excited but we were wrong! Proving to us that they just keep on getting better Amsterdam based Scotch and Soda unveiled what I think is easily one of the best collections to launch this year - Women's wear label "Maison Scotch".

Think vintage washes, bohemian retro prints, handmade fine fabrics, sharp shirts, sweet prints and lightweight tops and dresses, Maison Scotch will definitely have the same feel as the men’s line but with a dazzling more of sophistication and femininity

Nest Loves ... Vintage Cool!

Frankie loves Jimmy is our newest brand of homewares to Nest and stands for all things Vintage, Handmade and cool.

The edited collections finds inspiration from a love of classic, old school design reinterpreted in a modern, contemporary way .. In short - nanna chic.

The signature launch piece is a Recycled wood stool with crochet cover. Ethically produced in India by a team of artisan women and hand made using vintage recycled timber each carrying it's own unique look. At top - a wool crochet seat cover in rainbow coloured hues all fashioned in classic nanna chic style. A great addition of pop colour to any kids room or adults for that matter. Mine looks terribly chic in our living room and makes for a great place to stack my endless supply of magazines!

Another from the collection and due in store over the next weeks is the Pixel Love Rug - a Luxe Wool felt ball rug lovingly hand woven in Nepal in Candy coloured hues. A delightfully chic conversation piece and stand out in any room. In 90cm and 140cm sizes - various colour way's available..

Nest loves a bit of craft and have been delving into this crazy world of late when putting together our monthly windows. As much as we love getting crafty, kids adore it even more and it is a great way to help foster creativity in children.

Made by Joel is a great blog I found and it does just that - Full of a wealth of creative projects and inspiration it has some great craft projects and ideas for kids of any age - my 2 year niece adores it and looks forward to our regular "craft sessions" where we bond over our love of the creative .. I highly recommend it!

This Minnesota-based American footwear company has been producing hand-sewn, hand-finished suede moccasins since 1946 and has since garnered a cult following among celebrities and alike.
