  4. Very sad to see this outrageous copy of another artist's work. Do you have any idea how hard artists work to make a living? Perhaps if you were further aware of that, you would reconsider taking food out of their mouths.

  5. That looks just like Jenny and Aaron's work
.I hope you paid to use it.

  6. Excuse me!!!! That image is by a good friend of mine from Asbury Park NJ...it is NOT your original design! If she has recourse we are behind her 110% to sue your @ss. How dare you infringe on copyright like that. As an artist with 40 years on the battlefield I know what it feels like to be 'ripped off'. I'm only hoping that Jenny has the energy and time to take you to the mat on this. You should be sued for claiming the right to this intellectual property. At least credit "Jenny Holiday" as the creator of the cupcake if not of the saying!

  10. It's hard to know who did this....I'm sure that "Nest" paid to have it created. My "Let Them Eat Cupcakes" phrase and design has been ripped off for years now by so many on Etsy and even famous people who should know better !! It's sad to "pioneer" something and have lesser talent copy it for gain. Jenny you are an original and those who buy should know that !

  11. Nest Store, whomever you bought that poster from copied an artists hand drawn cupcake and is trying to pass it off as their own. The imagery and copyright belongs to Every Day is a Holiday. By selling a poster containing another artists work without paying a licensing fee, you are contributing to the fraud and illegal pirating of others talent, creativity and honest work.

Did you know that Copyright Law prohibits rendering a close copy of another artist's works? Closely copying (or in this case, making an exact replica), of another living or recently deceased artist's work for commercial purposes is illegal under U.S. (and most foreign and international) copyright law, comprising both a civil and potentially criminal violation of the copyright statute.

If you have any questions about the legality, it is suggested that you read the following website and pass this info on to the person or entity that you purchased this poster from: http://www.fineartregistry.com/articles/art-legalities/artist-legal-tips.php

  12. I hate when artwork is outright stolen like you did here. Shame on you!

  13. jenny and aaron work hard to make their living authentically. who ever designed this poster for you did so at the expense of another artist's creativity and effort. Nest, please, at least do the right thing and talk to them about how you can make amens, pay them legitimately and give them credit for their design.

contact them, they are sweet people and i'm sure you can work something out.

  14. Time for a new ad campaign. This design belongs to a different artist. It would be wise to take this down. Unbelievable. Seriously "Nest" why would you rock out a campaign without doing your research.
